I have terrible inefficient electric heating in my apartment...so yes I'm definitely ready for winter to be over.  If I have the heater set to 68, then it will heat the place up to 70, but then shut off until it drops back to a chilly 60 degrees.  Then it takes an hour to heat it back up to 70.  My last electric bill for this modest 700 square foot apartment was $110.  The bill in September, when I didn't have to run either the heat OR AC?  $36.

YES I am so ready for the winter to be over. Usually around this time of the day, I have friends over and we have a small party to celebrate the end of the work day. Right now I am in the work room by myself and waiting to fall asleep. I have to say that cold weather makes me miserable. I hear people around me talk about the different climate and some say that love the winter. Why? I would ask them curiously. I just don't see how being cold and sick is a fun way of living life. I rather it be summer time and we go outdoor to do the million things we can do. Most people tell me that they like the cold because they can wear more clothing to keep warm. Okay....and then? But that seems to be the only reason. I don't know...I hate wearing too much clothing. Especially when I have to wear a long sleeve to sleep. This will drive up the wall and i will be able to relax.
The summer time gives us enough sun to give us a little color. I like to go to the beach and enjoy he sun. When it gets too hot, I can go swimming. When it's just right, I can ride my bike along the coast. BUT, we are in January right now so I"m just miserable.

I am soooooo ready for winter to be over.  We had cold weather, some snow, holidays are over, bring on the warm weather.  I just can't wait to go fishing and spending time on the beach getting tan. 8)

you're awesome.

i wouldn't mind if the snow decided to take a hint
and get goin' but winter can stay. dead trees, bleek
skies and a nip in the air beats the stickiness of summer
ANY day  ;D
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]
