I have been a Conan fan since he began.. I think the network is really going to hurt for it.  Conan i think is stronger than ever, he knows that, i feel people are going to leave Leno for just plain arrogance toward him.   Leno should go back in line to the Late Late show. Give the people behind him the same respect he got with Johnny Carson.  Oh well...

Although I've watched more Leno than Conan, I agree. Did anyone catch Conans' last two shows-awesome.  I think NBC really did him dirty.

But I remember watching it when Jack Paar took it over from Steve Allen, and everyone thought it was the end.. then when Johnny Carson took over, everyone thought that was the end of it!!hahahahahah

I am a strong Leno fan BUT I think he should of stepped down and not made a move to come back to the tonight show, it made Conan look bad and though I am not a fan of Conan I think he should of rightfully stayed as the host, he earned it.

Wellllllll, it kinda makes me sad, but then again now i have a reason to go to bed earlier. I heard they were gonna take Leno off first and he was ready to finish up and give it away to Conan, but then Conan said "hey if i dont take this deal do you want your show back?" so now Conans being a gready s.o.b and giving up on todays society for quick cash, just like every political person does coughcoughobamacough. *sigh* i really will miss Conan and his crazy humor.

I think it's pretty messed up that Conan had to move his family and entire staff out to LA just to end up getting the boot. But he's had a long run on NBC like he said so he doesn't seem bitter about it. Though it still kind of sucks.. I liked him better than Leno. Conan's last show was pretty awesome though rockin out with Will Ferrell.

I don't have anything against either Leno or Conan.  They're both funny in their own ways.  But the NBC suits handled the whole meltdown in the worst way possible -- first punting Leno to 10pm where he wouldn't survive, then going back on their deal to keep Conan at 11:35.  At least now Leno will be back where he feels comfortable, and Conan is being given a huge payout to step away.  And he'll be back.  Probably on Fox.

I don't really care about the battle between them. I don't like Conan though, and I was surprised when he was picked to take over in the beginning. I like Leno okay, but I don't go out of my way to stay up for it. I usually watch Colbert and Stewart on Comedy Central for late night comedy.
