Consolation Credits for Receiving NO Credits?
« on: April 01, 2010, 06:35:15 pm »
I would love to see FC offer a consolation credit to all who complete an offer but are never credited! There seems to be a lot of discontent with the members on FC when they are not given credit for doing offers! My suggestion would be to offer 1/2 of the credits, Example: a .02 credit offer would be a .01 consolation credit. A .50 credit offer would be a .25 consolation credit. Get the picture? What are your thoughts?

With no way to verify that someone actually completed an offer (short of getting credited), and no way for us to get paid for non-crediting situations, it would simply be abused and financially impossible.

I used to be involved with another website that paid you to complete offers and also to read emails. If you would open a support ticket, and send them a copy of the email that the company sent  you "Thanking you for completing the offer, OR welcoming you to their program, or whatever that proved that you had completed the offer. They would go after that company and get their money from that company, then they would credit you for completing the offer.

I have tried many other programs that offer to pay us, but NONE hold a candle to Fusioncash.

What about surveys that let you in for half or more of the survey and then kick you out.  Thats not fair .  it would seem that there would be some way of tracking this too.

I agree and will not do surveys for that reason. I have often tried and after about 20 minute, it says "sorry, ...". So, they can forget about me!

Consolation credits may not be possible.

To those who say we're not paying anything and it's free money:

Time is money. For all those wasted minutes you spend doing failed surveys, you could be putting that time towards learning a new skill, exercising, or spending time with your family. Don't sell your life short, it's valuable and it's still wasted when things don't approve.

I've given up on trying to complete offers:  there are just too many ways the advertiser can deny you credit.  I do try for the surveys, however, and I favor survey sites that do provide a consolation credit in cash, but they are few and far bvetween.  Most just give you a entry in their latest sweepstakes -- never have won any of those.

Can't see FC being able to offer a consolation reward for trying unless they could get the advertiser to pay for it.  Not likely.

We tried for years to pursue manual credits from our advertisers, but it's a losing proposition since they represent a lot of hassle for minimal reward, plus it's a pure loss for an advertiser.  Think about it: they can handle manual credits in a timely fashion, and pay out more money.  Or, they can ignore or delay requests indefinitely, and pay out less money.  It's not hard to see which one they choose.  Some sites may offer consolation credits or manual credits, but I doubt they have the high payouts and no fees you find at FusionCash.

I think that the benefits doesn't outweight the cost with this matter. It would take too much manpower to establish a position to go after sponsors for the X amount of credits. Not only that but need to move on with the no credits and waste no more time with finding out why it didn't credit. There are topics you canfollow to get a advantage on which offers has credited for other members. In the end, if you didn't get the credit, you didn't loose anything. I look at it as free money opportunity with zero risk on zero investment and a high yield.

Like I said, you do lose something and that's time. Ultimately it's up to the individual to decide what their time is worth, but in my opnion, having a 50/50 chance at getting a small reward is just not worth the minutes put into it.

I personally stick around fusioncash for the dailies, forum bonus and the occasional survey. It's hard to justify doing offers when the site themselves couldn't even tell you what's going on when things don't approve. It's not a knock on just fusioncash btw, i'm aware that the entire gpt world is like this.
