Actually "woot" isn't the word. It is w00t with zeros. And I do not know if it will be placed in the dictionary, but it was voted Word of the Year for 2007.

Oh yeah! Now that I think about it, I DID see it spelled with two zeroes.  Weird!

Yup, 2 zeros.
Spelled with a mixture of letters and numbers, the interjection “w00t” is defined as “expressing joy (it could be after a triumph, or for no reason at all); similar in use to the word "yay."”


And nope, "w00t” isn’t official Merriam-Webster dictionary material yet – it’s only included in the publisher’s online Open Dictionary.
