Signing over a check to someone else is forbidden by the Terms of Service and the check may be returned if you do.  Our bank does not allow it.

Unfortunately, prepaid cards are rather expensive, which makes them unpopular.  We used to offer cashouts via ePassporte (a stored value card) and it accounted for less than 1% of cashouts due to the high ($5) fee.  There is no way around that kind of charge.

If you want a prepaid card, your best bet is to sign up for AccountNow (an offer on here) and then load it via Direct Deposit for your FC earnings.  Last I checked, AccountNow waived their monthly fee when you have Direct Deposit, so you can get the card affordably.

samrhett2:  Lots of people cannot get or don't want to get a bank account, so prepaid cards are really the only banking-like option available.

Thanks for the info.  I would have never known signing over a check was not allowed.  Whoops!  Guess I need to read the terms of service again.  And I guess there are people who don't want to open accounts at banks, but it sure would make it difficult to do anything money related.  Unless you drive everywhere to pay your bills and you are lucky enough to have the creditors all be local, because I don't t think you are supposed to mail cash and I am sure that it isn't a good idea.  Now days I am finding that everyone is almost demanding that bills be paid through auto draft, which I don't like, but I do it if there is no other option or if it qualifies me for a discount, like my Direct TV bill.

I can certainly understand WHY that signing over a check to someone else is FORBIDDEN by Fusion Cash. It is for your protection. Just in case someone should steal your check and forge your name on it and cash it at their bank.

THIS IS ONE THING THAT I AM IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT WITH FUSION CASH. THANK YOU FUSION CASH !!
