New Video problems

I was not able to load some of the new videos using Safari but I was able to load and view these same videos using Firefox.  However at the end of these videos, my computer froze.  I got the bouncing beach ball.  I had to force quit Firefox both times.  And there were no further problems.  I did get credited for the videos.    Any suggestion as to why this happened?
