Religion and the workplace
« on: June 29, 2010, 05:36:52 pm »
I have a co-worker who starts to sing (which is not a big deal) but eventually they start to cry  :crybaby2: and say start reading the bible repeating lord, I'm not worthy. Do you think that's right for the workplace?

I am a church secretary, ;D no problem at my workplace, but if you don't work at a church it is odd to do that at work. I think they should concentrate on their job and worship God at church or at their home. Also as long as they are not making a show for attention. Their is a time for prayer their is a time for cry - joyful cry is better then being sad. Cry of joy for salvation not for "not being worthy" God wants us to value ourselves as the children of a GREAT KING.

You understand me: I practice it at home, even in place of sanctuary. There is a time and a place to worship the lord, in whatever name you want to call him. It just makes me feel uncomfortable when I'm on the phone speaking to a client and I'm not sure if the client hears her weeping.  :dontknow:

Doesn't sound like a religious problem. Sounds like a fruitcake problem.
I've been around a lot of religious people and none of them spontaneously break down and cry.
