Hi...I am new to positng on this page.  I wanted to get your ideas and reviews on new book ideas.  I love to read Vampire Books that are Romance Fantasy that I guess are considered young adult books.  I am always looking for new books to read and would love input on books that people have read and would recommend for me and others to ready.  Below are some of the books I have read and loved and would def. recommend them to you....so if you would like to add your fav books and reviews I would love to hear them...because like I said I am always looking for new books to read!!!

My books I have read and loved

Vampire Academy - Love Love Love All these books in the series!!!!!
The House of Nights Series - Love them
Twilight
Right now I am reading the Black Dagger Brother Hood Series and it is an adult vampire series...it is pretty good...there are a lot of books in the series and I am on the third one.

So let me know what you think or like in these kind of books!!

Id recommend anything by Chuck Palahniuk.

He's an adult writer, so sometimes he can get a little over the top. LOL.

But some of his work you all might be familiar with is:
Fight Club
Choke
Stranger than Fiction.

^ those were his books turned into movies. Of course he has more incredible books out.

Try the Buffy Vampire series. Very thought stimulating & philosophical. The TV series are great but don't watch the movie, it's the corny version.

Other books: Lighting by  Deane Coones  & Sophie's World are good books.

Anything by John Saul! He's a great writer and has loads of different types of books depending on what you're interested in reading. All the ones I have read deal with the supernatural and unexplained, and seeing how you mentioned you liked Twilight I think you would be interested in it.

Anne Rice also has great vampire books (the original writer of Vampire books!) that you should definitely read.

I loved the Harry potter series...great books, even though they were for kids.

I liked where the red fern grows, anything by Sylvia Browne, I love Stephen King.

Want to read the Twilight Series, Alison Dubois books, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and that's all I can think of right now. Haven't been reading much lately.

I too am a huge fan of the Sylvia Browne books.
I always watched her on Montel :P

If you have any interest in historical romance/fantasy/fiction Diana Gabaldon is the best! Her series is called the Outlander series- also the title of the first book.

Here's a little brief: Claire is with her husband in 1940's Scotland having a second honeymoon after being seperated during the war. She is walking near a circle of standing stones when she is taken back 200 years to 1740s Scotland where she is captured/ rescued by a clan running from the British. In order to be protected she is forced to marry a clansman- Jamie. She makes many attempts to get back to the standing stones and get back to her own time but she falls for her "new" husband and has to decide to stay or go...... It centers around the Jacobite rebellion in Scotland (Bonnie Prince Charlie and all that jazz).

These books have everything, the stories and characters are so in depth you'll have a hard time putting them down! I re-read this series every year and it never gets old! Trust me, check them out
