i have $40 know.but i need to verify my paypal account so i can put the money in it.but i dont have it verifyed
can an1 tell me how to verify really easily w/o putting the bank info.

Unfortunately, the only other way to get your account verified is by applying for either PayPal Buyer Credit or PayPal Plus Credit Card. I have been with PayPal for four years and have never encountered a problem, so while I understand your concern, it is safe, IMO. Hope this helps!

From the paypal website:
There are two ways to get Verified.
Add and confirm your bank account.
Get approved for a PayPal Plus Credit Card, or PayPal Buyer Credit. To apply for a PayPal Plus Credit Card, click the Plus Card link at the bottom of any PayPal page.

I've had paypal for years, never had a security problem with them.

I HATE PayPal.
I had to close a checking account because they would not stop recurring monthly withdrawals from my checking account.
I tried repeatedly to get pay pal to stop as I had canceled what I had bought-but they simply would not "get it."
They actually took my money and did not reimburse me.
THEN after I closed the account.
The bank called me to say I yet again owed paypal for the same recurring charge again.
I told the bank that actually "they" owed paypal if they wanted to pay them.
Since I had after all balanced and closed the account out.
I mean this was so rediculous I cant even relate it all on here.
It went on for MONTHS!!!

PayPal is nothing but a disaster.  If you use PayPal for your eBay account, its VERY WISE to not have your cashouts from here deposited in to your PayPal account, IMO.

Just go to eBay, click on "communities" and then go to the PayPal board if you want to read about some absolute horrors.  There are a few PayPal "hidden" employees who post there, but you can easily figure out who they are.  It's a shame that they are allowed to practice the way they do.

If you do not use PayPal for eBay then you should be ok using it for this.  99% of PayPals problems originate from eBay users.  All it takes is your cashout being deposited into your PP account then an eBay user doing a chargeback (and most have 18 months to do one, via their credit card companies) and POOF......your money is gone.

im a paypal new user, and have an ebay account but have NO problem so far...i applied for paypal debit card and got it in less than 2 weeks. but i also transfer my fund from paypal to my BANK account just to be sure...

I have used paypal for many many years and never had any issues with giving Paypal my information. They are very reputable..

Paypal can definitely be lame. I haven't had any problems with it. I'm not verified with them, but I'm still able to get money sent to it no problem. Luckily nothing horrible has happened with my paypal account *knock on wood*.

Go here and click on "visit Alternate Address Confirmation" link on option 3 under "How a buyer can confirm an address."
