sorry, but i'm with dmalsbury on this one.  Never heard of Culvers before. So as much as I get tired of Mcdonalds, I'd have to vote for them.

Culver's is pretty much a midwest thing, most are in Wisconsin.  And there is no comparison, Culver's wins hands down.

There is a Culvers about 15 miles away.  I guess we'll have to give it a try but it's hard because that's also where there is a Texas Roadhouse.   Hmmmm, steak or hamburger????????????  Actually, we're not really fast food fans.  There is a McDonalds close by but we're not likely to stop.  I don't mind stopping for french fries when we're traveling because if it's bad, you didn't spend much.

I haven't heard of Culvers either.  It must be regional.

I grew up with McDonalds and the Big Mac is still my favorite hamberger of all fast food restaurants around.  Not good health wise, but still like the taste.  Love the french fries!

Culvers didn't exist in Wisconsin when I was there (45 years ago), and don't exist in NJ -- closest one is in Columbus, Ohio -- but they might be moving east as they expand.  Menu looks good -- they have a grilled Reuben on the menu which I can only get at Pal's Cabin at the moment.

But until they get to NJ, I'll vote for McDonald's.

I've never heard of Culvers.  I really don't like McD's. So neither I guess.

:cat:  I have never heard of Culver's either, so I will go with MacDonalds.  However, when I travel again, I will check to see if there is one around - I would like to try it! :)

There is a Culvers not far from my house.  I am not a fan of fast food at all and rarely go to Mcdonalds.  But, I would go to Culvers.  I really don't consider them fast food.  I have had their Reuben and it is good.  I hae also had a burger or two from there and they were also good.
