why is there so much hatred in this world today

I would have never thought that there are evil people who strive to destroy life like this you can not watch the news with out hearing about yet another murder some where this is just so sad that we don't love each other.

I agree sweetie a lot of people are really messed up..And sad thing is some people do not even know they are messed up and wrong..I try to look at all that is good in life and leave all the crap people and things behind me in my dust..

i guess i blame it on balance , because theres no way you could have simple peace on this whole planet , because theres gonna be a diferent opinion and a bitter sour mouth person who wants it their way , and their views will spread like a virus ...like for examples the war in the middle east they have their local people wanting to take all of our lives , just because were born here ? like we dont know them from a can of paint as the saying goes ....so its messed up but its like you can have a superhereo without a villian .....its just life

Mostly its because of ignorance and stupidity.  If those with the problem of hating others would accept people as they are for who they are.  Its 2010 and it seems a though we are still back in the stone age of 1840 or worse.

   I also think that some, not all, kids/adults maybe fell through the cracks, so-to-speak, when it came to consistent discipline, manners, and respect being taught toward others.

I agree with all the points already made..I also think the dumbing down of America adds a lot to the problem. A little personal responsibility go a long way too.

I think that people, starting with the young, aren't taught to respect others anymore... look out for #1, and who care who you hurt.

Personally, I think the world has so much hatred because somewhere along the way people stopped "treating themselves" to some candy!! (The mere mention of eating a Kit Kat is enough to send alot of people here in my real world into a FRENZY, I KNOW because I've witnessed it!)  Life is TOO SHORT not to indulge in an occaisional treat...take time out to sample a new candy...enjoy a little chocolate & sugar every now & then.  Life could use ALOT more SWEET!!     (note to jcribb16: LOVE the snow kitty!!  We just got our first snowfall of the year here today---2 inches and another 2-3 inches expected.  My dogs were so excited....me, not so much!  )

That's neat about the snow!  I imagine all the kids were excited too!  I couldn't resist the picture.  I still like yours, though!!!

I think there is so much hatred in the world because so many people are self centered and only think about themselves and how they can get ahead and they never think about helping anyone else.
