Spending money to make money?
« on: April 04, 2008, 04:43:26 am »
Well I noticed that a lot of the surveys we have are subscriptions or trials and we have to pay to make about 10.00 off a 20.00 survey. My questions are, is it worth it to spend the money on a trial or subscription that we aren't going to use? Are we just spending more than we would make?

You should be interested in the offers you do, you should have the mind set "Hey, I need a flashlight. I could use the Extreme Beam (no idea if this is even still up). Oh look, I can get money back from buying one, and if I don't get credited I needed the flashlight anyways."

right. only do offers. wether it be a free trail. buying something, or even a freebie. only do them if you have a true interest in them and want them or more info anyway.

First of all, you might want to read the rules.  Talking about cancellation is grounds for you having your account suspended and forfeiting all your earnings.

Secondly, if you cancel a trial right after being credited, there is a good chance that it will be reversed.  So you really aren't accomplishing anything but more work for Admin and risking your account.

I second Madd4Money- I get sooo tired of seeing people talk about abusing the site-and that is what you are doing- only do offers, free trials if you actually want that product. That's how these sites got started and stay in business-people actually wanting the service, device, etc, and in return for the referral, FC gets cash, which they share with us. Win win, if everyone is on the up and up. Too many people like to take and run-that will cause less offers, trials, etc for the real people, and eventually an end to the gpt sites altogether, A lose lose.

I hear what you are saying, but it is not just $10 it is usually a subscription of some sort not a one time payment so really you are paying to receive money it's only a win win situation to the company making the offer, not vice versa.

:dontknow: Sorry ASHE but it sounds as though theres some greed issues in your comment.
Like everyone else said, only respond to offers your really interested in. As opposed to just
making a quick buck for yourself through fusioncash.net

Ive found to look at the positive side of it all and work on the Daily Surveys and referrals.  If you can manage at least one Daily Survey a day, you  can average about 25 to 30 dollars a month.  Not bad for a half hours work a day.

Like Kohler and SOOOO many others say, don't just do the offers because you want the money. These retailers and other companies PAY FC for advertising them, and in turn FC pays YOU for supporting them. If you don't actually USE the products and services advertised, then you aren't really even making that money LEGITIMATELY and if the businesses all figured that out and decided to do something about it, then they could even go so far (not that it would be entirely right) to decide that they should take their business elsewhere, where people appreciate their business, rather than the money they make for PRETENDING to.

And ssonkey, word to the wise-
don't say cancel  (pardon my language). It's a four-letter word aound here, never mind the extra letters. ;D
