I rarely download anything. Though, I'm safeguarded for those rare occasions, because I'm fortunate enough to have recovery CD's for my computer. Should something happen, I can reset my computer back to a factory state of mind, if you know what I mean. Knock on wood, since I've started working with survey companies, and the like, I haven't had a need to do this. Phew! One of my rare gambles that has paid off, go figure.

I agree with not downloading because Im mainly cautious about this. I am afraid of viruses and the fact about having to much stuff on my computer. My goal is to use my computer to try and make extra cash and the last thing I want is to have it crash.

Not.  I only download things I know are reputable and will help my system run and nothing else.  I don't do any offers that require you to download anything.  As much as I love and trust FC I have not and won't even download the toolbar.  If I don't need it to make the computer run I don't download it.

I am very leery about downloading things from anywhere. Even when friends send me emails I am cautious because sometimes hackers get into email accounts and send out spam. Avira is pretty good about finding suspicious things though.

Interesting choice of words. Allow me to practice a bit of Shakespeare here:

"To Cash, Or To Crash - That is the question!"

Okay, my audition is over, did I get the part? Hehe.

I don't do many offers that require a download. FC toolbar was an exception to that.

I don't like downloading, it is hard to uninstall ALL of the stuff that came in.  Sometimes things stay behind.
