Lucky Draw every week!! Whacha think?

Alritie here is my idea.

FC should organize a lucky draw every week ...lets say every Friday at 5pm.
Here is how it works.
 - There will be a money bucket ($25.00 MAX)
 - FC member who wants to be a part of the lucky draw will have to put in $0.25 into the bucket .....starting monday at 8am.
 - Once 100 members have contributed (.25 x 100 = $25.00), the bucket will be filled up.
 - Then, we'll have a lucky draw every Friday and the lucky one out of 100 members whose name gets picked by FC will win $25.00.

What do you guys think?

I guess I need to clear it up little better. If you want to enter into the Lucky draw in a particular week, you need to contribute only once into the bucket . And, You just need to contribute $ 0.25 (not $ 1.00) a week.  Once 100 members have contributed ( i.e 0.25 cents contributed by each member totals $25.00), the bucket is full and no more contribution is allowed for that week.

Then, one member will be randomly picked out by FC  and he/she gets that $25.00.

I hope that makes it clear.

Yes, that would be gambling. You're paying for a "CHANCE" to win money. That's the same as buying a lottery ticket to win a jackpot. Don't think the Admin is going to approve of the idea, but I won't presume to speak for the Admin. However, if someone were to "donate" the $25 each week, and people were to perform a "task" to gain an entry ticket, that would probably be more acceptable. But my guess is that someone donating $25 a week would not be a financially profitable idea.

It's a chance and that all it is if you win then it is your luck if you lose that at the end of 10 weeks you lose 2.50

Thats a great idea. I don't mind giving 25 cents once in a while. With a little luck I might win the $25!!!
But FC will not allow such things bcz it resembles gambling. So let us forget the idea of easy $25

I like the idea but it does seem like gambling somewhat. If it is legal, it would be fun to participate
