what do you do when it is nasty outside

me i like reading or cooking something special and relaxing i find it very rewarding

it really depends on the type of nasty you are taking about.  Rain and wind with some ice I stay in the house and stay warm.  I will read and work on the computer.  Sometimes I will cook a nice pot of soup.  If it is snow then it is all about the hot chocolate and tea.

get on the computer and knock out a few surveys. Or watch an old movie or go to the casino, anything to pass the time..

take the kids to mcdonalds playland. play nintendo. watch movies and make popcorn on the stove... we keep ourselves busy in wisconsin during our 6 months of winter.

I love to cook... bake bread etc and when I'm not cooking I'm looking at cookbooks or websites with healthy interesting foods..... in the evenings when hubby comes home we watch a movie on netflix when the weather is bad.

I agree that it depends on how nasty.  Sometimes, I will go out and do errands in it anyways, but if it's really cold, I'd rather stay in, if I'm able to.  I will clean house, watch a movie, organize a room, wash laundry, or call up a friend.

Lucky for me, I live next door to a wonderful organics supermarket.  So I always make certain that I have lots of good food to eat.  I have cable TV with five premium channels and I love movies.  So I watch some good movies, eat good food and play on my computer.
