Referrals want me to contact them?
« on: February 19, 2011, 10:49:08 pm »
I've recieved 2 emails from FusionCash saying that my referrals want me to contact them. I sent them an email, but they never replied back. What is this about?

There use to be a message system on FC that allowed people to communicate privately on FC, but it was abused so it is now disabled.

I had not been aware that FC had a means to let you know that one (or more) of your referral wanted to communicate with you.  That's good to know.  It might be just a check on a box they clicked when they registered to allow you to communicate with them by having FC give you their email address.  Doesn't mean that they had anything in particular they wanted to discuss.

It gives you the means to help your referrals directly (rather then thru the Forum) and helps you build a good relationship with them as time goes on.

Think about the things that would have helped you get started on FC and pass that info on to each one.  The more you help them, the more they will help you.

Good luck with your referrals.  Treat them like gold -- precious, but easily marred if abused.

Make sure the email you send them is help and not just a pitch for another program. They check a box when they enroll to allow you to email them, but that doesn't mean they will answer.

This is very good advice.  Your 2 referrals checked a box when they registered under you which allows you to email them.  As swogden said, go ahead and email them.  Offer them help and advice.  If you can do that right away and build a relationship with them, they are more likely to stay and use FusionCash.

Oldbuddy also had great advice......do not just send pitches to them about other programs.  Send them helpful info for FusionCash.
