Suggestion for the List of 'Offers Credited to Your Account'
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:57:39 pm »
I think it would be great if only the last 180 days of offers credited were actually shown on your account page.  Once you start having several hundreds or thousands of credited offers, it can slow down the loading time of the page (at least it has for me).

If you could somehow make it like the "Offer Clicks" page where only the last 90 days are shown, but there is a link you can click to show them all, I think it would be quite helpful.  But unlike the 90 days for that page, I think it should be 180, just so all offers which are active for a cashout (if they haven't requested one) are showing to allow them to see their warnings for any expirations.

Just a thought.

Good idea. How about making it into a database for the user to query, i.e. drop down list, next previous page, etc.

Yes there is a place right in the account page just before you roll down that you can click to show all that you have done.  It is good thing to have.  It allows you to go back and look at the dates of something you might have bought like me I got the magicjack but couldn't remember when I got it so it there now I know.  So I wouldn't want it to change myself.  Have great day!!

I don't want them to totally do away with the crediting history.  Not at all.  I am just suggesting they don't show every credited offer since you've joined the site; just maybe the ones over the past 180 days.  Once you've been here a while, the list gets very, very long, and has (at least for me) slowed down the loading of the page.

Like I suggested in my first post, on the "Offer Clicks" page which documents all the offers you have clicked (whether they credited or not), it only shows the last 90 days.  If you want to see more, there is a link to click which shows your complete history.  I'm just wondering if something like that could be done for the credited offers on your account page, for the sake of loading speed.

Stealth also had some good suggestions.  Maybe it could be done with more user controls, where you could set it to show all, last 180 days, only non-cashed out offers, cashed out offers, etc.

That sounds like a really good idea.  Those of us who have been pretty active for even several months have a huge list now.   :notworthy: :notworthy:

What a great idea! I could see how it could be a bit annoying to wait for 2000+ completed offers to load. Maybe someday I will know firsthand...   :P

I think the best thing to do would have the credited offers dissapear after you cashout and the check is cashed or your paypal is credited.  No need to keep thousands of offers on a list when they have long been paid out.

I think that would be a great idea. Then you would still be able to review your offers, but it would help increase the speed of when you are reviewing your offers.

I think it is a good idea, but I would like to get credited with all the sites I do.

I set it up to show the last 240 days worth of credits (180 days till expiration plus another 60 days for good measure).  You can follow a link on your page to view the entire list.  For Oryon's case the account page's size was reduced by 40% and loaded noticeably faster.

Thanks Admin! It does make a difference. I have been using the site for over a year and it really was getting cumbersome. As always, I appreciate that you look at our suggestions and take action if it is appropriate. Kudos to the whole staff on making this a fantastic site to be on.
