I haven't adopted but was adopted and it worked out great.  I don't remember being told that I was adopted.  I always knew and felt very special because my parents told me they picked me out.  I thought for a long time there was a room with a bunch of babies and my folks walked down the line and said we'll take this one  :binkybaby:

I haven't adopted any children before, but if I decide to bring kids into my family I plan to adopt at the very least one child. I know this isn't the same thing, but I have adopted pets before and it worked out great.

I have never adopted a child but know of children that were adopted and it worked out great for them, I have friends of my children that have "adopted" me as a second mom (does that count?) and just today I got a huge hug from one since I made him and his gal a crocheted baby blanket for their first child. I guess what I should say  is that even though the child is adopted (or they adopt you) they are still part of the family and will always remember the little things that have been done for them. (Hoping that I have explained myself well enough here) I have at least 15 kids that call me mom (besides my own three sons)but each and every single one of them are very special to me.  ;D

I haven't but I know several couples who have.  One couple has gone to China three times for three little girls (Lily, Rose & Jasmine).  Another couple adopted her great-niece because the child's parents & grandparents were drug addicts.
Have a wonderful day!

I have not adopted any children, but I am looking into it when I am ready to have children. I think every child deserves a loving home.
