Who did you pick to win the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
« on: April 05, 2011, 07:49:11 am »
Has anyone noticed that the UCONN Huskies won the NCAA men'n basketball championship yesterday. Well I had picked Ohio State to win it all and after the first weekend  of  the tournament  my brackets were finished. How many people picked UCONN to win it all.

I picked the University of Connecticut although I was routing for Butler as I felt that they were the underdogs.  I am from Wisconsin and was happy to see the University of Wisconsin and Marquette advance as far as they did.  I didn't see how far the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee went...they usualyy advance further than Madison and Marquette.  Over all...a good job done by all!

I know nothing about basketball.  Don't keep up with it at all.  I did a bracket because Murphy USA was giving away free gas for a year.  Somehow i picked UConn, but didn't win the bracket challenge.

I had KY....almost had it.  I have a 69 yr. old female friend who won a $500 pool with UConn winning.  But she would much rather have UK win the championship than the money!!  Me, too!!!!
Have a wonderful day!

I did two brackets and had Duke picked on one and Kansas on the other. I really thought Duke had a shot after doing so well last year, considering they had a much better team this year IMO. They had an awful game against Arizona though. As for Kansas, I figured they would choke like always but I couldn't bring myself not to pick them just in case. Never expected VCU to beat them that's for sure. I though Lousiville would be a good upset pick, but they didn't even win 1 game. Anyway, my brackets were doneskies early this year.

Of course my 8 year old cousin had UCONN winning it all and took home our pool money. That little punk.
