I feel every president in office had their part in sniffing out Osama Bin Laden, so i wouldnt single out one person for the credit

Neither.  The only people I believe had anything to do with finding him were the military troops over there.

To me giving credit to anyone not over there doing the work, would be like giving credit to a gardener saying "look at the beautiful garden I made, when they paid several people to do all the work for them and didn't ever actually touch the garden.

I agree that it's the military that deserves the credit. Yes, they have to get certain missions authorized by the commander in chief, but that is a very small part of what led to his capture and eventual death. I want to know how they got a DNA test so quickly and what they compared it to so they could be sure it was him. Did they have his DNA prior to 9/11 or something?

You can find me on Youtube!

As much as I like Obama, I don't think it's really fair to give him all the credit for finding Osama. He is our commander in chief, but the military did the work to find this man. You know, I have mixed feelings about Osama being gone. No doubt it's a good thing that he's out of the equation, but part of me is afraid that other extremists will use him as a martyr for their cause now and it will galvanize them to do more terrorist attacks.

I would say Both, I think Bush and Obama policies helped, I believe Bush old policies help with the new policies that Obama has put together, I'm a Black female that would give Bush some credit too he didn't do much but I feel his policies played a role in finding Osama!!!

Well, since Bush ended the program that was looking for Bin Laden in '06, it's a bit hard to give him any type of credit  ::)

AMEN!!  I think the military got Bin Laden because we finally elected a careful grown-up (Obama) who knows how to pick competent people. By comparison, Bush was a whiny, spoiled, impulsive child playing with some very dangerous toys.

If im not mistaken Osama was hospitalized for his illness...awhile back so that was proof of the DNA they held already.
