Fresh Vgeetables

Now that fresh veggies are in season. What is your favorite veggie and do you like it raw or cooked?
I love bell peppers  any color-in fact the more different colors the better.   I put raw peppers in salads,tuna or just eat them by themselves.

I love yellow squash, okra and zucchini. I prefer my vegetables cooked.

I love cooked squash and okra. We just had some squash start to come out and fried them up yesterday for dinner! We also had some left over okra we froze. I also like tomatoes, peas, and green beans.

My favorite would have to be green beans though. Nothing beats a fresh green bean from the garden.

My favorite is asparagus. I pick it up with my fingers (when I'm eating at home) and eat them plain. I also love them with sauces, grilled, steamed or broiled. Somebody on another blog thought they helped with water retention.
