The Beach (ocean) is about 2 hours away from me. However a lakefront is within minutes from me. I like being close to the lake around late afternoon. The breeze across the water is cooling as night comes on. I live where it does get hot in the Summer during the day, but always cools off at evening/night. None of those sticky hot nights. I can't sleep comfortably if it's too hot.

We use to go to the beach.But,we stopped a few years ago because everytime we went someone in our family got sick and one year one of our girls got stung by a bee.For us the beach is way too dirty!You just don't what your stepping into or on in the water.Also,our beach is full of dog poop and cigy butts.

I haven't been to the beach in years .. and I want to go this summer!!! My kids went with their dad's family last year for the first time, ( I am divorced). I would like to take them this summer.

We plan on going to the beach sometime in July.  I love to take my grandkids, they love the water and we have such a great time.  Hope to see you all there at someone beach!!

I live no where near a beach, so unfortunately I won't get to go  But if I ever get near one I would LOVE to go!

I live close to Lake Erie and there are actually some really nice beaches around.  Of course, it's not the ocean, but it works.  I'll be in North Carolina around Labor Day and you better believe I'm gonna hit up the beach then.
