Father's Day
« on: June 14, 2011, 08:50:37 am »
I just wanted to hear what everyone is doing for father's day for their dad or their kid's dad. My dad passed away 3 years ago, but I am trying to make a special day for my boyfriend/2 son's dad. I was thinking about going to the beach if it's nice out cause he works so much he never gets to do anything fun. We got him a special picture frame with a saying in it and a new fishing pole cause that's the only thing he ever gets to do when he does have spare time is go fishing. I think it will be fun to hear everyone's ideas. I hope all you dads have a great Father's Day with the ones you love:)

The day always sneaks up on me so I hardly every prepare in advance. I did buy him a gift online and I might make him dinner or something. My dad has never been big on taking trips especially now that he has a lot of pain issues with his hips and knees. He would much rather relax than run around all day.

Father's Day is just another day for me since my father past away when I was 1 or 2yrs old. I gotta work that day anyways and I may just watch a movie with my puppy after I get off from work.

Well at my house we're having my little sisters high school graduation party on Saturday and my Aunt and Uncle and their boys are camping out in the yard. We live on a farm so it's a pretty big yard. Then on Sunday/Father's Day we usually have a cookout and sit around and drink some beers. Sunday is also my brother's 27th birthday so we've got a bit of a busy weekend on our hands.
