I like both... Because I use both for my personal use..  Desktop for my work and laptop for my personal use.. I type more faster on my laptop though.

I prefer my laptop - I hate sitting at a desk and my desk chair is really crappy. I have an external hard drive though for all my stuff.

I definitely like desktops better. Although laptops do allow freedom to carry and use almost anywhere.

I like Laptops, however, desktops are ok because you can replace cards easier than you can with a laptop.   :cat:

I am not sure on this one, I like them both. Laptop gives you the freedom to move about if needed.  I  use desktop for work though.  For now.  Hoping to get second computer to use for personal use.

It really depends what i'm doing. If i'm doing research, work, i like the laptop. For running my internet radio station, i like the desktop.
It really depends what i want to do that day. I feel likes it's always changing. Lol

I like a laptop better for  everyday internet use, because it can be moved from place to place. But for working on photos or music, I like my desktop better. The problem I have is that I have an older desktop, and my new laptop has a lot more updated programs that I need. So I don't often use my desktop any more.

Actually, we have both and love them both.  For working at home and such, nothing beats a good desktop.

For traveling and all, definitely a laptop.

Sometimes both are necessary.

I like my desk top. It's about 12 years old and generic but I have souped it up pretty good! I added 360 GB to the hard drive, maxed out the RAM at 2 GB, and added a graphics card so I can use dual monitors (a must have). I do hope to get a laptop soon though so I am not always stuck at this desk!

I have a laptop. However it is pretty much stationary because I have a hard time carrying things. I got it because it takes up less space and I can take it with me if I really need too.
