this whole thing with predicting doom's day is B.S. ! it appals me the nerve of some ppl trying to be God. NO ONE knows when the world will end. end of story !

The Bible states that no one will know the day or the hour.  I guess that kind of answers it.  It could be today or it could be next week you will not know and people who predict the end of the world are just guessing to try and get attention and followers.

No one knows the hour.  These people who keep publishing these predictions are just trying to make money and scam people into believing them.

You know, I have been pondering this alot over the past year or so.  I don't think anyone can predict this but I have to admit, predictions about the earth and it's changes have been pretty accurate (ie. bad storms, earthquakes, tsunamies, etc.).  Someone once said that little by little people would be wiped out by these storms until it's all gone.  I never seriously thought about the greenhouse gases and environmental issues but when you watch TV and see someone saying that the ocean species are dying now, you really have to wonder what's going on and what is in store for us.  Anyway, I am not concerned about that particular date.  If you Google it, there are many views of this date including one that says "there will be great changes at that time, but the world will not end.  The changes may be good or they may be bad."  We will all have to wait and see what happens next year.  I'm counting on the "good".  God knows that I, personally, have had enough of bad for the past 4 years.  I am predicting at this time that the world will go bankrupt and we will need a war, just like we've had in the past, to correct the financial issues globally.  Sad fact........I wish for nothing but health and prosperity for all.

Totally agree. Now people try to interpret the bible in a way that will benefit themselves. They say they put pieces from bible verses together to come up with a day. If God wanted us to know the day, He would of made it clear.

I don't think the world will end, I remember these predictions from the 80's.  But I do think we were no longer going to be prosperous and we will have many hard times ahead of us. Espcially if teh economy does not start picking up and government keeps growing. The country wil be so regulated in every aspect of our lives, we may wish it would end.
