A marriage gone soft and sour due to lack of attention. Its the lack of communication that can kill a relationship. Look, find, figure out, MAKE the time to converse and connect with each other in meaningful ways. It’s amazing how we can be married ten, twenty, thirty, forty, or even fifty plus years and still find there is much we don’t know about each other. Some say it’s because we’ve lost the art of conversation. Others say it’s because we don’t allow it to continue after we marry — we allow everyday living to separate and distance us instead.

The trouble in a marriage are the two people who were foolish enough to go through with it. You paid good money for a piece of paper and you'll pay even more for the right to tear it up!

Didn't you say in another thread that you've been single for 12 years?  lol

the trouble with some marriages is people don't have empathy for eachother. People  can't stand the little things that annoy them about eachother, and it snowballs out of control out of selfishness, and stupidity. You get fatigued because people think they can change one another, and that's impossible to do! So instead of communicating and understanding eachother truthfully, only arguments and separation insue.

Communication won't do much if one or both parties are unwilling/unable to communicate effectively.  What works better is learning to not push each other's buttons...also, being more selfless.
