Maybe if the kids had jobs, money and families that the companies have the need to market to, then maybe kids can get more surveys.  Thirteen year olds don't fall into the demographic these companies are looking for.

I'm not so sure I agree that companies aren't marketing to kids.  It's true that a lot of the manufacturer's prefer to have the primary shopper do the surveys, but many companies also realize that kids influence what their parents buy and they do want their opinions.

Many times it seems like my kids qualify for more surveys than I do, especially with entertainment and gaming surveys...
