Twilight Zone Marathon on July 4th

I don't know about anyone else, but on the 4th of July, I was flipping through some channels on the T.V., only to find that the Sci-Fi channel had a 24 hour marathon of The Twilight Zone. Now don't get me wrong, I love me some good Twilight Zone....however, for the 25 years I have been living, I've become use to the the Twilight Zone marathon being a New Year's Eve thing. It was one of my favorite things to do....stay at home with the family and watch Twilight Zone episodes while eating some homemade snacks. At twelve-o-clock, we switched the channel to the ball-drop, and did a little "new year" celebration, and then immediately went back to the Twilight Zone. But this year, I was a little tripped up by Sci-Fi's decision to host a 24-hour marathon of the Twilight Zone over the 4th of July weekend! I'm not sure exactly how I feel about that, because it's always been a New Year's Eve tradition for me, and now they are messing me up by making it a 4th of July thingy!! Of course I watched it, but it just wasn't the same for me..... Anyway, what about you? Do you watch the Twilight Zone at all? If so, has it been a New Year's Eve tradition? What do you think about it being a July 4th tradition?

I'm not certain, but I think they've been doing it on the 4th for a few years now.  I watch almost no TV, so I only see things like this on holidays.

I missed it this year but usually catch a few episodes when I have time. The writing was very creative for it's time and it's amazing the number of stars that participated.

I already have the twilight zone on dvd. I'll probably watch it anyways. always love a good story. They don't make them like they used to.

I absolutely love The Twilight Zone.  My parents do too and they watched it with me when I was growing up.  I also enjoy watching The Outer Limits.

Actually the marathon was on all day the 3rd and the 4th.   I go Twilight Zone overload again this year.  Hope they keep it as an every year thing.

I freaking love Twilight Zone but now that I don't have cable any more I can't watch the marathons now.  I didn't care when it was on I'd watch every last one.  They should have a 24 hour TZ channel I'd watch 24 hours over and over again.  I never get tired of watching.
