What is up with modern fashion?  First what my grandmother used to wear came back into style and now in order to make a statement saying they’re ‘hip’ is to wear jeans that most people throw out when they get that way.  I was brousing through a JcPenny store one day and saw these $20 jeans that had holes in the knees and pockets and torn on the bottom of both pants legs.  I was thinking, ‘Why should I waste $20 on a pair of ripped jeans when I can take the pairs I already own and do that to them myself.’  Not that I would but why is stylish to look like you can’t afford to be stylish?  Even on the Paris runway they present clothes that no ordinary person would wear even if they could afford to by the cloths.

Called an opinion just saying its not a fact that these are unstylish or stylish its what people think about them that makes them stylish or not.

I'm tired of all the jeans available being worn out before I buy them.  Even the ones without holes are practically falling apart on the hanger.
