Why are there so many reality shows?  They aren’t even really reality shows.  Most of them are scripted dramas because the directors and producers can’t allow chance take hold of the show for fear it might be boring and no one would watch.  Take for example that CBS show Big Brother.  The first time it came out there was no drama, sex or whatever.  They were just a group of people living and working together until only one won the competition.  Okay someone my get someone else upset so there would be a little drama but everything always worked out.  I guess the producers didn’t like that because everyone since has been dramatically dramatized including a knife fight in one season that got one of the contestance thrown out.  Are there no shows someone could create that people would watch to they wouldn’t have to put on crappy ‘reality’ shows?

I like reality TV.  Sometimes the showes are really good and fun to watch.  If you remember that it's TV and for our entertainment you would enjoy it.

Reality shows are cheaper to make because they don't need writers, and make a ton of money because many people like to watch the drama.
