I have never had any success doing them. I find them too complicated for me but other members have had success doing them.  I hope those members will respond to your post.    :dontknow:

I agree that the tasks are overly complicated and subjective.  It is very difficult to get through some of the tasks that may appear easy at first glance.  I am an intelligent person if I do say so myself, but have not been able to do the tasks I have attempted "correctly".  Good luck and more power to you if you can survive the gauntlet.

I completed 1 but it took me a while.  It was one of the easier ones, most of them are really toooooooo much.  You can start and go back to complete the 10 tasks ... I read that somewhere ... but it has to be the same day etc.

I have had some success on some of these daily tasks. Here's the final screen you work so hard to reach:

Thanks!

We appreciate your work. You are now done and should receive your credits within 15 minutes.

This is the job I just completed this morning after reading your post:

Special: Find and Enter a Phone Number - 565f7992    2011-07-17    $0.12    Approved

So can they be done? Obviously. Some members do quite well on these in fact. I've seen 4 or more approvals in one day for other members, but that is rare. I don't know how they do it. I think most members find these tasks too difficult and just give up.

Is it worth your time? Well, the job I just finished took me about 50 minutes of painstaking work to complete because I am slow and methodical when I work on these...and I still missed one. You be the judge.

What are the incentives?

1. Any money you earn from these goes towards offers.
2. The adrenaline rush of reaching that final screen!
3. The challenge, of course!

What downsides are there?

1. They can be long and time-consuming, so you might want to have a pot of coffee handy
2. Miss too many questions and you fall below the minimum percentile necessary to complete the task
3. Crowdflower remembers your percentile if you attempt the same task on another day, so you don't always start at 100%
4. Many of the easier low-paying tasks often have no further work available even though they are listed each day

So there you have it. Yes, the daily tasks are not impossible to do, but there is a learning curve and you've got to be willing to devote some time to them. Will I continue to try them? Probably. I'm retired and have the free time. I tend to stick to the jobs that pay $.20 or less because those are hard enough in my opinion, and I still have to be in the right frame of mind!

Whew! Hope all that helps!  ;D
