My girlfriend was really into Amy's music.  I can't believe she passed away.  It is so shocking.  I guess it goes to show that life is truly short.

It is very sad but did not come as a shock. May she rest in peace.

She died today...poor thing... ???
It is so sad. She was so young. I believe it was 26 or 27. Well I didn't hear too many of her songs but the ones I did, I liked. I heard on the radio today that her family already laid her body to rest.

It's sad and tragic what happened to her to die so young. Its even more tragic that she didnt get the help she needed before it was too late.

I thought it was incredibly sad. It's not like I was surprised she passed away, but I remember thinking about all the jokes I've encountered about her drug use, and it made me a little angry with people. It would have been nice if all that attention aimed at making sport of her had been directed toward helping support her. I'm not sure if that would have made a difference. But it just makes me sad now that people picked so much.

Sad that her parents forecast that this wouldd happen over two years ago yet did nothing to stop it from happening.  Every one else has their life invaded...Lindsey Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Robert Downey...this could have been avoided.  Winehouse falls into a long list of stars that died at age 27 like Curt Cobain, Heath Ledger, Jim Morrison, etc.  This alone should be a warning to intervene and keep a closer watch on the people that are obviously substance abusers.

I'm sad to hear all the countless heartless jokes people are still making about her.  I love her voice, but her songs were not my style.  I find it sad, all around.  Still waiting to hear the results of the autopsy, though.

drugs is a real sickness, and the only way to avoid it is to never start, i never used drugs because when i was young my brother and his friends did, and i didnt like the way they acted so i stayed away.

What is up with the 27 club? I never heard of it before, but my son said Amy is now a part of the 27 club.
