What is your best memory of Augusts past.Mine would definitely be the birth of my son in '84.  I just want to start the month with every body thinking about good time in past augusts and with high hopes for this one.

I remember August as a time of getting my children ready for school.  The nice new casual clothes that were also dressed up in a way and the school supplies.  Every was new and clean and had to be organized.  There was always a feeling of a new beginning.

My daughter was born in August, so ver August since 1997 has been great.

My birthday is in August so I have many good memories but I think the best are of going to my grandparent's and attending what they called Old Settler's.  They had concerts around the town square and it was so much fun.
