Why are you typing messages to yourself on the forums when you're right there, with yourself?  It is your own blind faith which resulted from "selling"-out to a specious religious superstitious mythology.  Since I haven't done so, your remark is yet another example of self-delusion stemming from an irrational religious belief, (rather than an evidentiary basis).

Ive mentioned this numerous times.....Babylon the Great in Revelation <false empire of religeon or christendom>will soon be destroyed by world government culminating in Armagheddon....so biblically speaking it doesnt matter what other so called xtian organizations think that are not on Gods side.

Remember the high priests and Pharrisees in Jesus day wanted him killed because He exposed their man-made & satanic doctrines.

And i guess you cant discern the comparisons i tried to use between 93,N Viet & defending yourself on a street attack.

Not sure why i even bother explaining bible to you when you are only gonna go back to sq 1.

Sorry for delay...internet connection suks.

I've heard many, many similar boasts from people who have never accomplished anything.  You self-proclaimed heroes who would jump up and take action on flight 93, or defend yourself against criminals on some dismal street, if only you ever had the chance.  Then there are others who've actually served and been prepared to face those kind of dangers, understanding that we might have to give our lives on any day of our service.

You just keep on talking about what a hero you might have been, for many of the rest of us, our record speaks for itself.

If you had to defend yourself or your wife from an attack walking down the street and you killed someone doing so i am sure that would be justified.

Senseless wars do not justify killing innocent people.

If you are familiar with bible then you should be familiar with JWs....they are the only sect to truly honor and obey it.

And why should God serve you?

Why should he serve me?  Simple logic, according to your religion, he's omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.  He's so superior to me that I'm less than a child compared to him, he's so loving and understanding and forgiving - of course he should be taking care of me.  Of course he should be "serving" me, if he's so superior to me as some of you claim he is.  If he doesn't understand that, then he's not really much of a god, is he?

Nobody's talking about playing any games with cowboys, and please don't insult our noble native Americans who were here long before any of us immigrants arrived and exterminated them and took this continent from them.

You have no realistic understanding, no concept of defense when you choose to defend only yourself and your immediate family.  You claim to have been willing to sacrifice yourself on flight 93 against those heathen moslems, unfortunately, you never had the chance to show how much of a hero you could have been on that flight, or in any other way, but you can talk about what you would have done, if only you had had the chance to show what a hero you are.  What have you ever actually accomplished in your life, except, of course, your heroic loud mouth?

Contrary to you, I never claimed any heroics, I don't need to.  "Patting himself on the back?"  I never did that, I simply served in the Army for many long years.  I served 12 years in Germany helping to defend that country against the Soviets, not one German has ever found it appropriate to give me a word of thanks for my service, at least the Korean government gave me a coffee cup as a token of thanks.  When I see uniformed service members, I make it a point to walk over to them, shake their hands and thank them for their service.  During all my years of service, none of my own people in the USA have ever bothered to express a single word of thanks for my service, only my own fellow soldiers and officers.

And then, no surprise, there are the a-holes like you, who could never be expected to show any gratitude for the service of the many, many thousands of military personnel out there all around the planet trying to protect your worthless lives.  Not having the courage to serve, even for just a few years, you, nevertheless, have the courage to insult people like me by saying we're "playing cowboys and indians."  It's never been a game for us in the military, but you go ahead and stay safely at home in your bedroom, hide your head under the covers if you feel there may be some danger anywhere near you, don't worry, somebody like me will come around to protect you.

And, yes, I do know the bible very well, almost certainly better than you do with your confused mythological, mystical jehovah's witless nonsense.  I've read the bible and many, many other books that have to do with historical, archeological and cultural studies of that part of the world.

*Bravo*, "alaric".  You've articulated your points well and it probably isn't a surprise that I completely agree with them.  It's 'unfortunate' that such "jehovah's witless" cannot be of more use as cannon fodd ... er, military conscripts than as examples of 'brave-talking cowards', (or, "conscientious objector" on the basis of a specious religious belief).

Yeah, send them out ahead, like the Soviets did, to clear the minefields so the real fighting men can advance and finish the job of defeating the enemy.

Well, at least they'd be serving, (and in a more useful function than flapping the religious gums being protected by those doing the fighting and dying to enable that superstitious gum-flapping, as opposed to some alleged supernatural entity).

You back up Jesus words more and more.

He said in this satanic world if you were gonna follow him to pick up your torture stake. The world hates him and his kingdom was no part of this world. So keep praising your dying world.

Im thankful that i never served in the service and never had to kill for the sake of this modern day Sodom and Gomorrhea.

And Alaric...dont question my bravery...if i had to die for my wife or son it would be an easy decision...i wouldnt worry about getting a coffee cup to show i love them.

And save your time worrying about sending Gods people out there for target practice Alaric. Many died in Hitlers concentration camps before they would serve a madman.Try reading up a little on how they felt about Vindicatiing Jehovah as the only TRUE God!!!

Lets not forget how Mr McVey felt about the government and what he did.NOT that that was right but you wonder whatever he saw compelled him to build that bomb and kill many.

You back up Jesus words more and more.
He said in this satanic world if you were gonna follow him to pick up your torture stake. The world hates him and his kingdom was no part of this world.

"Believing the cross to be non-scriptural and "pagan", the Watchtower Society teaches their loyal followers that Jesus died on a "torture stake".
Although it is forgotten or unknown by most Jehovah's Witnesses today, the Watchtower Society has not always lied about Jesus dying on a
torture stake. Early Watchtower publications clearly depict the method of Jesus' execution as a crucifixion, or death on a cross. To further support this man-made teaching, the New World Translation Committee (the committee which fabricated their own version of the Bible to support Watchtower dogma) inserted the words "torture stake" where the word "stauros" appears in the original Greek manuscripts. The Watchtower Society explains this interpretation in the November 8, 1972 Awake! magazine by stating that the word stauros in the Bible means "upright stake" or "pale". They also go on to say that the cross is a "non-christian symbol" and "the adoration of the cross is outright idolatry, disguised under the label of being Christian." Through such harsh statements, should one conclude that the Watchtower Society has concrete evidence that Jesus was indeed impaled on a torture stake?"

To:  alaric99x and falcon9:

I, personally, want to thank you for your service to our country and to any other countries that either or both of you have helped to protect, as well.  Whether Christian or other faith, or no faith, you two are part of a spectacular and brave group of other men and women, who have chosen to go into that field, no matter where sent, and risk your lives (or risked) to protect other people/s and country/ies.  Our nation, and others, wouldn't be as safe as they are, even now, if it weren't for those of you actively engaged in that.

My grandfather was in the Army, served under General Patton; my father was in the Army; my husband and father-in-law are both former Marines, and my oldest son is currently serving in the Navy in his 10th year.  I'm proud of them and what they accomplished and what our son is accomplishing, and like a typical mom, worry to death when he's on deployment in those countries currently at war.

Whenever we see a person in uniform, or if we know it's someone who is in the service, we also go to them and shake their hands and tell them thank you for what they do.  So again, thank you for your commitment and loyalty to America's freedoms and security, as well as to the other countries that need help.  And I'm relieved that you both are safely home on American soil.
