PC or Mac?
« on: August 18, 2011, 07:32:48 am »
What do you like better and why?  I have 2 PC's and I went out to Best Buy a couple weeks ago and bought a Mac Mini.  I bought the basic one for $579+tax.  I need to upgrade the ram from 2GB to 4GB.....other than that...I guess its okay for the most part.  I debate it over my PC.  Both of my PC's will be going in for repair in a couple weeks so I'll be left with the mac.  I hope I can survive on it!!!!

I have had PCs in the past (Toshiba and Dell) and neither one lasted more than 2-3 years. I currently have an iMac and a laptop. I upgraded extra RAM and memory for both and they are both awesome. Have only had a little over 2 years so far though.

Well I hate to be the oddball on this post so far but I LOVE my PCs. I have a 7 year old Acer and while it DOES have a line across the screen and the DVD and card readers blew out on the motherboard, it is a good back up. My main PC is a Toshiba laptop. Yes, the hard drive went out and I had to send it back for repairs, I did back up the drive. Overall I love my PCs!!!!

to tell the truth, I am not even 100% sure what the difference is between a PC and MAC?? but I will go with a PC anyway!

I would say I like a PC better because I never had a Mac before and do not know the difference; but I would like to try a Mac one day soon.

I love the Mac! I used to work for Apple back in the early 90's and their product was far better than the PC! The problem was the cost compatability back then. The PC was the nr 1 Product with Business and Govt, so I had to switch but, I still prefer the MAC!! Much better product.

I bet everything related to working with Apple in the 90's was a TON different than it is now!!!!!!!!!!!  I need to upgrade my mac mini's ram and then I'll be set.  I like it for the most part...with more RAM...it'll be a TON faster!  I don't think I'll like it more than my PC's though..but it's the only thing I'll be able to live with for about 2 weeks.
