It applies every month that you post 30 contributing posts; it's not restricted to just this month.  I've gotten the $3 bonus every month since I started using this site last September!

I have only been doing this for 2 weeks, and I have already turned in my 30 posts.  It does say though it can take 6 weeks to post to your account.
