Christmas is coming soon!

It is August!!!  I can't believe that we have Halloween displays out much less thoughts on Christmas.  Doesn't Labor day and Thanksgiving factor in there somewhere, too? Toys are changing constantly and what may be good today will be obsolete tomorrow so why don't you wait until it gets a little closer to the holiday?  Live a little for today. Plus gifts aren't the only reason for the season.  Maybe concentrate on ways of introducing her to the reason that Christmas is a holiday?

My suggestion is something that you enjoyed from your childhood. New toys are great too, especially educational or interactive ones, but bringing back old toys is a great way to bond, and will no doubt put a smile on your face as well. Just remember to make sure that it is safe, I know a lot of toys from back then have been proven not to be. Best of luck!
