tips every diy nail painter needs to know
« on: August 28, 2011, 06:43:09 am »
i didn't know this until i read it in my cosmo - when you file your nails you arn't supposed to use a sawing motion or else they will be more prone to breaking/peeling/chipping, just file in one direction.  also, wipe your nails with alcohol before applying the nail polish to remove any oils that would prevent the polish from sticking to your nails.  use cold mode on your hair dryer at a 45 degree angle to dry - this makes sure all solvents evaporate (i think that's what it said, too lazy to go get the article)
