what kind of gifts do you get people?

I usually make gifts which is sooooo time consuming a huge process or buy something with meaning i have never just went out and bought lotion or a shirt for someone but now i just do not have that kind of time i mean i can spend 20 hours on a scrapbook page for someone and thats a week process i just dont have that kind of time what do you guys do ?

i agree that handmade gifts can be very time
consuming! especially if you do them for christmas
and have 10+ things to make! i try to keep my
handmade things small, so i don't get burnt out
on them.

if i buy store-bought, i try my best to make it
something useful. i'm going through a serious
clutter crisis and i'm trying to rid myself of junk.
i try not to contribute to anyone else's, lol.

candles, cute kitchen wares, food/treats, maybe
some home decor items are usually what i go for
as far as store-bought gifts.

Depends on the person and what they like.

I feel them out first. I ask what they like, what they use, etc.   Like I might say...oh, you smell nice, what perfume is that.  They usually reply by saying what kind it is but so and so is my favorite and then I get an idea.  That way there is some thought process put into it and lets the person know that you listen to them and care.   =)

Throughout the Spring and Summer there are mega clearance and sale opportunities. To make the quality of gifts better and the price lower for me, I avoid shopping in November and December.... AT ALL COSTS!!
