I go to the movies if its my type of genre or a great cast such as Johnny Deep, Paul Rudd, Angelina Jolie, & so on!!! Also i prefer getting movie popcorn & the nachos & cheese while i am there you cant really find a good nacho & cheese anywhere else these days that is hot & ready!!!

The cost of going to the movies is just not worth it anymore, i'll wait to see it on video.  Too expensive!

My husband and I still go to the movies when we can afford it and the kids are with grandma. We used to go every week, now we are down to once every couple months.  :fish:

I still enjoy going but I only go to discounted theaters for  $4.50 to $6 bucks a ticket and a $5 snack limit or eat/snack somewhere else but there hasn't been anything out worth seeing lately that I cant watch online for free :angel12:

I have a hard time justifying the money spent to see a movie. Especially since if I take my son it's the movie plus the drinks and the popcorn. Usually I take him once a year when a friend is down with her kids over the holidays but new baby this year so she won't be coming. Not sure if I will go ahead and take him to the movies or not maybe if they have something really interesting. We saw How to Train Your Dragon and Megamind.

I think it is better to wait for the DVD. Here are some reasons why.

- The DVD will probably have the scenes that were removed for its theater run.
- You pay for a DVD once and can watch it many times.
- You can choose when to watch them.

I don't go to the movies any more the price is outrages.  The last time I went to a theater was to see Salt. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be.   My husband had been given free tickets to a show so we went to that.  I suppose at that price I wasn't disappointed.

I like going to the movies when it is a 3d movie worth watching. Also if there is a movie that looks good on the big screen I am down to watch that. As for food at the theater, if i do not want to fill up on popcorn and candy i just eat a big meal before i go.

The last time I went to the movies was in July before I went to Greece.  I saw lots of action movies because of course, I took my nine-year old with me to the movies.  I go to movies when I can get a good discount or the movie gift cards.  Hey, why doesn't FC have movie gift cards as one of their offers.  People would actually use those!

I think I go to the movies about once a year.   I usually wait until Walmart has them for $5 and I will buy them.  I would rather be at
home where I can be comfortable.  Snacks, drinks and bathroom close by.  I also can cry in private if it is a tear jerker.
