I am so together this year!  Food shopping is done for both Thanksgiving and Christmas!  I've even got New Years day taken care of!!! Shopping is low end this year and that is good.  I'm really enjoying making the holidays more about the time with friends and family and less about presents and financial stress.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Don't really do Christmas shopping. No children or grandchildren. Husband and I pretty much quit exchanging a few years ago. It's become all about "buying stuff". And besides Jesus was born around around Sept/Oct. I work at one of the major popular Department Stores and get to watch people get all bugged out. No thank you. And, I'll be working Black Friday too  :'(

I still love Christmas...don't get me wrong. I put up a small tree,,,enjoy the lights but it's more about being with family then presents. And, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the food. :D

Thanksgiving we'll be at my sister in law's who loves to cook. Basically I keep the holidays as simple as humanly possible.

I've been planning for Christmas most of the year, so I'm nearly done.  This year I vowed to cover my Christmas festivities using nothing but money I made online (at places like FusionCash!).  I'm happy to report, this experiment has been a resounding success - but if I waited to the last second - that would have been tough.

For Thanksgiving, I'm going to a relative's house, and everything was covered - so nothing to do but show up.  For Christmas, I just need to get a few more items that I'm waiting for the online sales coming up this week - then it's just wait to get the tree up in early December (I get a real tree, so I don't want to get it too early, as I like to keep it through New Year's).

Already starting to plan my New Year's goals for next year too.  :)

I am almost ready for the holidays. I don't have to cook on Thanksgiving as we will be with friends. I have a few gifts left to get for Christmas and then I will be done. I am so happy that I have gotten my shopping done early.

I am not ready at all!  I haven't started my Christmas shopping at all.  I don't even know what I am going to get people!  It's going to be a hectic holiday!
