We love beef stew. I put in chuck roast, potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, beef broth, and will thicken sauce with flour or cornstarch

Usually use bite sized chunks of meat, potato, and carrots, sometimes celery. I like to have green beans in it and sometimes corn. For the liquid it's usually a combination of juice from the meat, beef broth, and water from the canned vegetables plus sometimes we put stewed tomatoes in it so that liquid goes into it as well. I also like to add noodles.

I like to use lots and lots of chicken.  It gives the beef stew such a unique taste.  No one can figure out what makes it so different, but I guess I let the cat outta the bag now.  Maybe next time I'll try pork!

I put everything I have in the house, except the kitchen sink!  Mostly celery, onion, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and just for kicks I put in what I had left of the frozen stir fry vegetables.  Turned out really good.  Oh, and I added a little garlic powder too!

Besides the typical ingredients, (beef, veges & potatoes)   I make sure to include a generous amount of garlic, onion, cilantro & a few other fine herbs & spices. mmmmmmmmmmmm.........
