I personally like Winter. I live in California so I don't have to worry about snow unless I drive to Big Bear.

Sign me up for that club.  I hate cold weather.  I live in South Carolina and it even gets too cold here for me sometimes.  I lived in Michigan for awhile and it almost killed me.  Being cold is painful.

I love the cold weather!! I use to live in NYC i live in south florida & down here its hot all the time!! I rather be in the cold then in the heat!! Because you can always add more clothes but you can only take off so much!! And down here even a bathing suit sometimes is to much!!! I miss the snow & the cold breeze blowing on my face it feels amazing!!  So i have to say i am for the cold weather no against it!

I'm definitely in that club.  For me there is absolutely nothing good about winter.  It's depressing and dreary.  I hate when the sun sets at 5pm.  I hate cold weather and being cold.  I hate snow and ice.  It might be nice when you are a kid and get a day off school but when you have to drive in snow and ice to get to work it's not fun one bit in fact it can be downright deadly.  I can't take snow days if I don't go to work I get penalized which may lead to termination.  So yeah winter and me are not friends.  I can't wait until it's gone.

The only thing i like about Winter is an occasional snow and the fact that their aren't anymore flies in the house trying to land on my dinner or nats! lol!

Same here too.  I loathe winter.

In the extreme north, it's too long and too messy.

It's constant snow, ice, rain and grey skies.  I'm always depressed in the wintertime due to lack of sunlight.

Getting a good source of Vitamin D3 helps, but I prefer the light.

We used to live in Florida and I miss it terribly

Give me sunshine, palm trees, beaches, Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney, Church Street Station, and Universal Studios ANYDAY!

I guess if I was living on the east coast I'd be part of this club, but living in cali, we only get this type of weather for the "winter" months.

some people in oregon complain about the rain and oh geez its raining, stop complaining people. it rains here, deal with it. I like the flooding and the snow especially. i say if its gonna rain, rain cats and dogs and if its gonna snow.. snow 3 feet, if its going to be sunny be sunny for more than 1 hour. Sometimes we get all that in one day and maybe a tornado and thunderstorms haha. I love it here.

i laugh at alot of the people who still cannot drive in rain or snow? we live in minnesnowta!!!! so we need to get it in gear and learn how to drive  or dont drive at all......

I watched the national weather this morning and I see that the southern states are getting their earliest snow in decades. I LOVE south Florida. 74 degrees and clear today.

You're absolutely right cold is better than hot at all the time I live in New Orleans and its hot and humid like 90% of the year SO don't tell me cold dry weather is bad you've to try New Orleans Weather to see how lucky you're with the cold weather

  A little snow on Christmas Day is nice, otherwise I don't care for winter.  The ice storms usually knock off the power, sometimes for days.  There's too many dark, dreary days and everything just seems dead...lack of sunshine makes everyone crabby.  Our sidestreets are usually not plowed for days at a time and alternate street parking is in effect (meaning if you park on the wrong side of the street--you will get a ticket.)  In a snow emergency, street parking is not allowed (violaters will be ticketed and most likely towed), so one better have family or friends to stay with, otherwise it will mean paying for a hotel for possibly several days.  The ice storms leave car doors frozen in spite of efforts to keep them from freezing and there's always the danger of slipping and getting hurt (my dog Shadow had two falls last winter in spite of efforts to keep her safe).  Scraping iced car windows is no picnic when one has a chronic pain condition.  The weather makes it difficult to haul laundry to the laundromat and hard to get groceries in the house because the long driveway is usually iced over.  (Salt isn't permitted because of the damage it does to asphalt).  Shoveling is the worst when someone isn't in the best health but there's always alot of shoveling to do because cars get stuck and need to be dug out, elder people need help with shoveling, etc.  I despise winter and everything about it.
