I turn the light off and watch some of my favorite programs. Don't think it helps me sleep but it does help me relax some.

I love to write late at night.
Writing comes easiest then,
Unfortunately I end up getting sleepy and eye fatigue way before what Im writing has come to an end.
Listening to a tonal generator is nice too.

lately, it's been coming home and turning on the
christmas tree lights, lighting a few candles and
stretching out under the blanket on the couch!

of course, the laptop on my lap and oscar-the-
grouch slippers keep me warm too  ;D
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I like to unwind and fall asleep watching tv!  But; it can't be anything new or something that will hold my attention or I will never sleep!  So I find old classic reruns like "Bewitched", "Lucy", or "I Dream of Jeannie"!!   ;)

Sipping on a cup of hot chocolate and wrapped up in a warm blanket while watching TV with all the lights in the house off except for the Christmas tree lights.  Then later when I get in bed, I like to read until I can't keep my eyes open anymore.

Pajamas, fire in the fireplace (lights off) and a glass of wine. Or hot bath, candles and a glass of wine.
