We are connected to Comcast.  With our bundle of cable and phone service we're able to get the most bang for our buck.  I have used AT&T before too...it was ok...never had problems with it but when I got my own place I went for a packaged plan.

Comcast Cable works fine for me and is much faster than my old DSL was.

Qwest, or rather Century Link. I keep wanting to call it Qwest.

I have Roadrunner ( Tampa Bay). I use my desktop for work at home, but I use my laptop fo recreation. It is conneted via a Net Gear wireless router, which is very convenient since I can use my laptop anywhere in the house.

I use Charter cable.  Used to use AT&T DSL, but when I moved near the edge of town, the DSL was way too slow (as I telecommute for work so I needed a fast connection).  Been very happy with my switch.

I have used Mediacom cable for just over 2 years now.  That was a big step up from 28k dial-up.  My first modem ever (pre-internet) was a 300 baud beauty for my Commodore 64 in the early 80's.  When I first got on the internet, it was with a 2400 baud modem on my PC.  Back in the early 90's, that was actually not too bad.  The WWW was very different then.  Much fewer websites and most of them were highly text-based.
