I heard something about it last night but then read it wasn't confirmed

No....he's in serious condition....an accidental story was released about his death.....

Yes!!!! He passed away this morning.  I assume all the stresss surrounding the allegations of knowing about the molestation and not doing enough finally caught up to him.  I lost all respect for him as a person with his knowledge of the situation and essentially "allowing" it to continue!

Indeed...about an hour after my last post, it is confirmed that he passed away.....such a tragic ending, with the scandal and all....hopefully the family will RIP

Did not know about his passing until I read this post.

It is indeed a very sad day for College Football and "JoePa" will be greatly missed.

His critics with the recent scandal can bash him and say what they will .. but they
can't take away the fact of how this man touched so many people's lives and was
a great inspiration and motivator for his players to succeed in life no matter what
path they choose to pursue after college.
