Everyone should get the right to experiences the joys (and terrors) of marriage... No matter what parts their partner have.

I am usually pretty open minded about such things but not in this case. I cannot support gay marriage. If they are insist on being together there should be some legal way to give them certain rights in emergencies to provide for each other but no marriage. As citizens they have the right to give wealth to each other and to be with each other. I cannot support anything else.

Absolutely gay marriage should be allowed.  No one should be discouraged from being pronounced and recognized as a couple devoted to each other in life and love.  :peace:

I do not  support nor believe in Gay "marriages. "  I believe this country is going in the wrong direction to have started allowing these marriages to take place.  I can not stand hearing about Gay couples being allowed to adopt children.  What ever happened to the belief that every child should be raised with both 1 father and 1 mother?   Also, I think it is wrong for companies to HAVE to provide insurance to these "marriages"   What is wrong with this country?  So many people these days are all about peace, happiness, let things be, no more do we hear of what is right and wrong, moral values.  People need to start reading their Bibles again, marriages have always been between men and women!!

I really don't like special privileges for certain groups of people.  If it is given to gays then others will also want similar special privileges (I would also like the same benefits that a married couple gets without also having to conform to the definition of marriage is).

I suppose when it comes down to it I would support some sort of civil union that bestows the same benefits of marriage for anyone who wants it (and not just to be reserved for gays but anyone who wants it).  If people insist on calling it 'marriage' though I would be entirely against it.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

So, what if a child is adopted by a man and a woman, but they abuse the kid? Is that okay? What about single mothers or single fathers? Should they not be allowed to raise their children because there's not another parent there of the opposite sex? Honestly, NO marriage, whether gay or straight, affects ANYONE but the people who are in the marriage. You should really re-read that Bible of yours. NO WHERE in it does it say anything about homosexual marriage. In fact, there are three relationships in the Bible that can be interpreted as homosexual. If we took the Bible as law, when a woman's husband dies, she would have to sleep with all of his brothers in order to produce a male heir. The Bible is a book about God, not about sexuality.

And, I don't know who your God is, but my God doesn't judge the children he created.

Exactly, people use God as an excuse for bigotry. I say everyone should take their intolerance and shove it down their throat.  :P

i really don't care that they want to be together legally i just prefer that they call it something other than a marriage.
