I have always been real close to my mother.  We would do things together, talk for hours on the phone, and I always tried to protect her.

My mother she raised me every day my dad moved away when i was 12 i still am in contact with him but she is always there and i can count on her my dad not so much

I'm closer to my mom. She's real easy to talk to and we do a lot of stuff together. Although the relationship with my dad is a lot better than it was when I was a teenager.

Well my dad raised me so I used to be really close to him... But since I have grown up and he has turned into a crotchety old man, I have found out a lot of things I was told about my mother were not true and I am now much closer to her.

My mother.  My dad made his choice for his new family when he turned Mormon (because he felt abandoned by the catholic church for not granting him an annulment from my mother) and got sealed with his new wife and their kids.  Told me the best thing about having siblings younger than myself is that when I die, they can do all the baptismal work and I would have a chance to join them then.    Wonder what it is he really feels....
