Marathon....

Who here has run one or is thinking about running one?

I have run fourteen marathons.  I started by doing five kilometer races and noted the beautiful women and free beer. Ten kilometers yielded more beauty and beer. Half marathons were kind of the top of the bell curve.  Marathons reward people with self satisfaction and a medal for finishing.  I have moved on to ultra-marathons after promising a friend that I would help him keep pace during his first 100 miler.  I am training for my tenth ultra marathon but have a longer road to run because I am still recovering from a broken foot.
