a chat does sound like a decent idea but i think it would have to be in a pop up window or something because it being on the side of the page wouldn't make logic. and also getting paid to chat? get real.

some type of a chat app would be cool.. espically if we can chat with people signed on the site at that moment... have like a open room where we can chat about what offers just worked or the surveys people were able to do... i would think it would make it more fun and i would hang out more on the sites.

Great idea!!! A chat room on here would definatley be cool. They ought to set it up like the chat on facebook, where it stays on there if you go to a different page but stays minimized.

Unfortunately, it's hard enough as it is to moderate and keep the forums clean.  With a real-time medium like chat, and given the fact that we have over 1.6 million members, it would be literally impossible to keep it free of spam and other garbage.  Sorry, but the forum is likely to be as "interactive" as it's gonna get

A live chat box would be awesome at least for the newbies...or even for those that visit only periodically so they can get the dish on new stuff or any changes.  Someone mentioned a small payout amount (like .25 I think) in another post, which FC may not be so keen on, but what if there were certain veteran members that met certain criteria that could earn the payout for their time spent helping newbies instead of spending the time doing their own offers.  Criteria could be things like length of time w/ FC, payout amounts, offers completed, no flags or misbehaviors, etc....I mean, if you've got great people willing to share their experience & are willing to spend their time online to share, that'd be a Huge huge service!

I don't really think I'd use a chat.  Sounds like a great place for kids to hang out or to have jerks go back and forth insulting each other.
